It’s smaller than the Tampa Airport but does not have as many flights.

Spring ushers in fantastic weather for exploring St. Petersburg, making March to May the busiest time for a visit.

You’ll bask in comfortable warmth, perfect for outdoor events and sightseeing around the city’s vibrant streets. However this is also when you’ll be sharing St. Pete with everyone else.

If you’re budget-conscious, consider planning your trip between November and February instead – prices drop during these months and crowds thin out significantly too.

This is my favorite time to visit. The restaurants aren’t as crowded. You can still enjoy the beaches and have them all to yourself.

For those who are water enthusiasts or keen on visiting the suburban palace, aim to travel from May through October.

Exploring St. Petersburg, Florida becomes a breeze with its array of transportation options.

We had a great time in St. Petersburg. While living in Clearwater and Gulfport, we spent weekends at the beach, the pier and exploring downtown.
