While it’s true that Crabby’s may initially strike one as the quintessential tourist haunt, it’s important to remember that such places often become popular for good reason.

Upon arrival, the welcoming facade of Crabby’s Dockside, with its sprawling outdoor patio, promises not just a meal but an experience.

The first floor patio is pet friendly so bring your dog on cooler days to enjoy the fun.

The restaurant’s three-story setup ensures that every guest finds their perfect spot. You can enjoy the shade and serene water views from the upper floors or the vibrant energy and live music of the first floor.

The live performances add a dynamic layer to the Crabby’s experience, with musicians who go beyond their set lists to assist guests, enhancing the welcoming atmosphere.

The patio, particularly recommended on the first floor for its lively downtown ambiance, offers unparalleled opportunities for people-watching. Here, one can observe the comings and goings of the Jolly Trolley, all while enjoying a refreshing ocean breeze.

A standout on the menu is the “Cure All” cocktail, a concoction of tequila and fresh juices that embodies the spirit of a Jimmy Buffett song, served in a glass.

For those who favor simplicity and flavor, the easy peel shrimp is a must-try, epitomizing the seafood fare that Crabby’s is celebrated for.

However, be mindful that the ambiance can become quite spirited when live music fills the air on the first floor, contributing to the lively din of happy diners.

The service at Crabby’s Dockside deserves special mention. Our hostess, Kassie, was friendly and accommodating. She let us change our table from the third floor to the first floor with a smile and great attitude.

This speaks volumes about the establishment’s commitment to happiness. Such genuine care and hospitality are what keep patrons returning.
